Last Thursday marked the first day of the ninth month of Gretchen’s pregnancy. It’s strange to think that it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for her to go into labor sometime in the very near future. She agreed to let me take some photos, so here they are (click for larger images):

I realize that it’s been a little while since I’ve posted anything here. It isn’t because nothing noteworthy has happened, quite the opposite in fact. In addition to the impending birth of our first child some other major changes are coming up for us in the very near future. At the moment I would rather wait to get into details about those changes until some circumstances work themselves out, which should be in the next couple weeks. I promise to get specific as soon as possible though, so check back soon if you are interested.

And speaking of big changes, Gretchen is really starting to show her pregnancy. It’s a little strange for me to see her looking so different. I’ve been around pregnant people before, but at the time their situation just seemed to be the norm. Now that it’s happening to my wife it’s very different. It’s surreal to witness her body changing so much in so little time. I’ll see if maybe she’ll let me take some pictures and post them here.

Thanks to all the folks who have been encouraging and supporting us recently, we love you.
