I hadn’t taken any pictures of Abraham in about a week (since my parents left), so here’s a glimpse at what he’s doing right now as I type.

Look at how cute and chubby his cheeks have become!

He is much more laid back and content than I was expecting.  I’m so thankful!

Sammy is measuring Abraham’s length.

He also loves to give his baby brother kisses and cuddles.

You may have guessed, from the silence on the blog this week, that our help has left so we’re running around trying to keep up with three kids.  (ha ha)  These pictures are from a week ago, so Abraham has gotten bigger, but I also just realized they’re our most recent pictures.  So enjoy our attempts at a decent family photo:

Guess who’s full of energy and who’s ready for a break

The best we could get, but at least  you can see some of the character of our family!

I thought Eli needed his own blog post tonight–not that he reads the blog…

He’s had a tough time this week, and I felt especially bad this morning.  (I understand how he feels as the middle child.)  We went down to the market with my mom and got the stroller out for the first time since Abraham’s arrival.  Eli was very excited about the stroller, but “his” seat is the one the car seat carrier fits into…and therefore is now Abraham’s seat.  Eli was so sad and broken when I told him that wasn’t his seat anymore, and I suddenly felt terrible for our little 2 year old!  To top it off, Mommy can’t carry him right now, either, so that’s another disappointment for him.  He pulled himself together after the promise of a trolley ride later, and did very well in his new role of “big kid”.

Here’s a glimpse into what it’s like having two older brothers to (torture)  love you:

So proud of himself!

Captain Hook and Baby Abraham…what more could you want?!

Telling Abraham about Captain Hook

It’s been a crazy week for us, and it’s good to be home.  I feel tired and out of it still but am glad to be back with all my guys.  Sammy and Eli were pretty keyed up yesterday with all the excitement but have calmed down and today feels much more “normal”.  They’re in love with Baby Abraham and really enjoy holding him, singing to him, giggling about what he does, etc.  It’s very sweet.

I don’t know that Charlie ever posted info on Abraham, but he weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz (1 oz. less than Eli) and was 19 3/4 in. long (I think).  He’s doing very well but does seem to have days and nights confused (yawn).

Yea for grandmas!!  They’ve been a huge help with the kids and everyday life.  We can’t tell you guys how much we’ve appreciated your help this week.

Going home!
